MUSIC INSPIRED ART

"Journey Through the Stars", oil on canvas , 70x100 cm

"Echoes Between the Rivers", oil on canvas, 50 x70 cm When I think of home, I think of jazz. This painting is a reflection of my city, Kharkiv, and a special place where the Lopan and Kharkiv rivers meet—Strelka garden square. Before the war, this spot was always filled with the melodies of street musicians and the joy of people enjoying the flow of life by the river. The hands playing the saxophone and piano in the painting carry the rhythm of those moments. It’s a personal story, weaving together music, memories, and the quiet strength of a place that holds so much of my heart.

Rhythm of Strength, oil on canvas , 70x 100 cm Inspired by the Granada performance by tenor Jesús León and conductor Toby Purser with the Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra, this oil painting portrays the strength and grace of a charging bull. The dynamic energy of the animal mirrors the power of the music, blending raw force with elegance in motion.

‘Melody in Motion’, oil on round canvas, 6o cm diameter 🎶 When Music Paints 🎶 Ever had an album hit you so deeply that you couldn’t just listen—you had to paint? That’s exactly what happened when I listened to Jesús León’s “Passione” with the incredible Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra led by Toby Pulser. The entire performance felt like pure magic. The orchestra and tenor were so in sync, it was like watching swans glide across a lake — every note, perfectly timed. No over-the-top clichés here: it wasn’t just about 'inspiration,' it was more like being swept up in the rhythm and grandeur of the music. There’s something special about hearing an orchestra play — it hits different, you feel every swell of emotion, every pause

"Rhythms of Power", watercolor on paper, 24x19 cm

This watercolor of a running bull takes its inspiration from the song "Granada" from Jesus Leon's new album "Passione". The bull, captured mid-motion, exudes raw strength and vigor, echoing the bold and dramatic energy of the music. The fluidity of the watercolor perfectly conveys the animal’s unyielding determination, power, and grace. Like the music that inspired it, this artwork speaks of passion, movement, and a powerful connection to nature.
